I finally got around to making a long anticipated trip to Switzerland this week. Arriving during the first snow of the season a few mountain passes were closed so we had to delay the Furka pass for a day. The wait being well worth it as the snow was cleared and the pass opened, the views are almost indescribable so I will let the pictures talk.
The route we took was from Milan past the Lombardy Lake through the border and into Locarno. From there we drove to Airolo towards the Furkapass and the Nufenen pass. If you take this route don’t miss out on Zermatt it is definitely worth visiting to see the Matterhorn.
