About us
Founded in 2013 to provide better online services for small to large businesses.
Established in Herefordshire in 2013, Lakewood media has grown into a digital agency specialising in WordPress hosting and consultancy, SEO services and content management.
We have been providing solutions to digital problems for companies within many different industries from fashion to automotive. We are made up of a distributed team and trusted freelancers who work closely with client managers to provide a comprehensive digital service.

We take the complication and expense out of your web services
Since 2013 we have developed a vast portfolio in multi-disciplinary design and WordPress development and have worked with clients on every continent. Our ability to exceed our client’s demands, meet deadlines and produce original work has helped us build a solid reputation.
SEO has always been an integral part of all our web projects. In 2015 we created our dedicated SEO service that provides clients with a comprehensive SEO service at an affordable price. Since then Lakewood has become a full-service agency, meaning we can lead on all digital aspects of your project.
Close customer relationships have helped us build a 70% referral rate. All our customers have account managers who know their company and needs inside out.
Awards
The reward in our work is really seeing our customers thrive but when we get an award it really makes what we do just that little bit special.

In our early stages, I was shocked by the number of clients we would visit who were paying extraordinary amounts of money for incredibly poor WordPress & IT solutions. These usually consisted of a free theme being stuck on cheap shared hosting and then just signed off and left for the client to manage. We have since created various solutions to help businesses, small and large, get online with maintained, SEO friendly, secure and fast websites.
High-quality WordPress Consultancy, hosting, SEO Services and Content Management seemed only available at a huge cost, affordable to just big businesses. Small businesses had to choose from a saturated market of ‘hobbyist’ web designers who have a tendency to neglect projects after they are launched leaving them to become dated, venerable to security breaches and non-compliant with Google algorithm updates. Lakewood provides a service affordable to smaller businesses but with a seriously high standard, all our projects are maintained for years.
In 2016 we founded CloudCanvas to provide a comprehensive WordPress solution for SMEs, without a pricey setup and monthly maintenance fee. CloudCanvas was later merged into the core managed WordPress services at Lakewood media. This was the beginning of our WordPress hosting solutions, rather than the typical ‘off the shelf’ hosting our hosting services are tailored to each client’s needs while still remaining affordable, super fast and secure. In 2016 we also launched WP Helper our WordPress support and maintenance service that provides one-off WordPress support and monthly maintenance/support plans.
We plan to continue to grow Lakewood into a leading WordPress & SEO agency.

Lakewood brings a personal and affordable approach to all projects.
Lakewood is still a small and concentrated agency and we think this gives us the upper hand. Small and concentrated allows us to work closely with all clients and offer an almost in-house service. Working with Lakewood is like having your own web and marketing department. We work on projects of any scale embracing big budget multinationals as well as smaller start-up projects.
Since our beginning, we have evolved in many ways and learnt more than we could have ever imagined. However, our values and aims have remained the same, to provide a truly personal service that helps your business increase revenue.
