Developing a WooCommerce Theme & making a Craft Beer Online Store Come to Life!

Craft Beer is a huge market in the UK and there are dozens of ‘Beer Club’ websites popping up trying to get a chunk of this lucrative expanding industry.
The Craft Can Directory is one of the first businesses to bring something different to the scene. Being part of WeCan Solutions they have a direct supply of craft canned beer direct from the canning line, meaning they can sell the freshest most exclusive craft beer available in the UK and Europe.
Lakewood worked with the Craft Can Directory to design and develop a WooCommerce theme and WordPress system that can scale with the business needs. We also consulted on branding, product photography and server management.
The Craft Can Directory is powered by a modified version of WooCommerce and runs on its own WordPress Multisite Network which allows subsites to be deployed instantly. This allows the Craft Can Directory to sell products for breweries through a portal of their own. You can see examples of the subsites in action with the Trade Craft Can Directory and even dedicated subsites for controlling specific product stocks that don’t need to be included in the core stock system.
